Do you want to do it by yourself? You could let a sony service deal with it.

Yes, the battery can be changed.  You need not buy a new phone.

You can use a power bank as temporary backup till your battery is changed.

Am I correct, Sony service should change the battery for free if it dies before the two years guarantee is over?
