Batch Delete Emails???

Is there a way to batch delete emails?  Or maybe an app from the market that allows you to do this.  I have searched on the above question but found nothing. Any suggestions gratefully received!

Click the menu button and see the option to delete mails. But there is no way to select all the mails. You have to select all the mails manually.

The original post is very old and I have since found the app K9 mail which allows you to batch delete emails. Its much better than the stock one on the X10 big.
