I bought one and in less then 24 hours a dead pixel appear near the middle of the screen but the shop or sony doesn't want to do anything about it. I pay the same price as everybody, why should I have to accept the one with defect.
I really want to like this phone but Sony customer service is poor.
can you just return it to the store?
I tried but they wont let me change and told me to contact sony about it.
that store doesn't have a return policy, not to exchange it but to return it (to get your money back)?
Yeah I did ask for a refund since I was not happy with the product but nope they wont do that too. I called Sony and they pritty much said I have to live with it and wont help.
It's hard not to make a comparison but with other phones I could get help easily when there are problems with their hardware and not users fault.
check again, because here in the US the customer is always right and we have the better business bereau which protect us, customers, also check the store return policy.
I call them again and this time the person on the phone said they will send this case to the higher up and see what they can do about it, they will reply within a week.
I don't really have high hope when they contact me back. They already got my money I don't think they'll do anything about it.
This is my first Sony android phone and its leaving a bad impresstion. I have a PS Vita and even with lack of developer support I'm pritty happy with it. So I decided to buy a Sony phone too...

I hope my gut feeling is wrong and they will help me when they call back. Never had to go to so much trouble for something that could be easily fixed.

That was Sony. I've given up on the store they wont help and they just keep pointing to Sony.
I hope Sony does fix this, the Xperia V its not cheap and to have a faulty unit is ...
