Backlight leaking...

Bought a xperia go from Hong Kong and received it today.

While I'm checking the phone, I found backlight leaking from the top of the screen.

Is this normal or defect ?

When I asked to seller, he replied that the sample he got has the same leaking from the top, so he thinks that it's normal condition.

What do you think, guys?

I don't have this, it doesn't seem normal at all, it looks like the display inside has been displaced somehow...although the image is really out of focus right where it's suppose to be

but if this is normal, I don't understand why does sony make it like this.

i think this is not normal. i had mine too.  the entire top part shows backlight. i have galaxy sl as my previous phone and i haven't seen a single leak of backlight on its screen. i am thinking of complaining this to sony it's over a week since i had this phone here in saudi arabia

yes, that's what I want to say. The very last phone I used was LG and it didn't like this at all.

I'd like to hear from Sony about this asap.

I hope silfiriel doesnt notice it ...correctly... Yesterday i checked my friend X go..there also i found the same backlight leaking..

i have the same problem but on left side and slightly on the right....i went and complained to the retail shop where i had bought this ...they dint help me.now i am going to a service centre myself .my friends having this same mobile dont have large backlight leak but have minor streak of light,but not as bad as yours and mine

Here the same. Not really "leaking" but if I tilt the phone as you do I can indeed see the light. Don't know if it's a problem, doesn't affect functionality as far as.I can tell.
