Automatically Shutdown at night?

Hi there,

i woke up that morning and after i drank my coffee i checked my battery-process in battery options.

I saw, that my Z3 was shutted down by itself and it costs 10% battery-life!

Scrennshot is attached.

Does the Z3 do some optimize processes some nights?

I dont understand it.

Moreover as you can see in the picture, is wlan wile that shutdown active!

11 pm - 2 am was the selfshutdown. Thats the best i can guess from the picture.

Someone can help me?

That's most likely an app acting up.

repair the phone with PCC and report back

HI there. What Is happening to your phone is referred to as a soft boot, random rebooting, stealthy reboot etc. This is an issue that has been happening for quite a while now and for some reason it is reported to happen more overnight than any other time of the day. I have a feeling it's related to firmware update.

i have installed the pcc.

But when i click at repair, it says that it will delete all my data?

what am i doing wrong?

that's correct, PCC will delete everything on your phone.

Repairing doesnt solve the problem

i contacted the sony support.

but there are many other users who have got that kind of problem.

i got that problem last night again. it takes now more than 4 hours!

But it has taken only 5% of my battery.

i dont know whats wrong.

I still can't recreate your issue, you should send your phone to get inspected.

Hello, This stealth reboot thing happened for my Z3 too..

This seems to be happening during days at certain scenarios in which you update an app or move it from Internal to External memory.

Can't exactly figure it out though. Only from 5.1 update. But this is certainly NOT frequent.

yes i do also move apps to external sd card.

but why is that a problem for xperia?

i dont get the problem i just cant figure it out.

did you tried a factory reset or repair with pcc?

It's completely random. I haven't had a reboot in a week so far. Really strange though.
