Autofit on ICS update on xperia go

HI, I've had my Go for a few months and have been very pleased with it, but I updated to ICS a few nights ago and I wish I hadn't done so.   My phone was reasonably quick and the screen was much clearer with GB, now it its a little laggy and the new typeface is not as clear, so I have had to crank up the brightness on the sceen as a result.

I am getting used to it, but the worst and most basic fault appears to be that the autofit on web pages now doesn't work.  Scolling to and fro on a phone screen is not an option for me, I downloaded Opera, which gives me the autofit, but it's not as good as Google search on GB.   Have I missed something, is it just my phone, or will there be a fix in the pipeline?  Thanks

It's not just your phone, I've noticed it as well.

I've just switched to the "Go" from an HTC Desire, installed ICS straight out of the box (Never seen the phone on GB).

Now I noticed I do a lot of side-to-side scrolling that I don't remember with the HTC.

A good example is the BBC news site, www.bbc.co.uk/news

When going to a particular news artical on my HTC, it used to re-format it as a single column (You actually saw it happen when the page finished loading) which made it much easier to read, the Xperia doesn't do this.

Is this a feature that I need to enable, or a feature that's missing?
