hi can you help with my phone cant get into internet at home saying authenication problem checked the provider, all ok everyone else can log in no problem,
Do you get this for the WiFi-connection or when trying to access a certain webpage or app?
If it's when using WiFi, go to Settings -> WiFi, tap and hold on your network and select Forget network. Then try to connect again and make sure that you type the password correctly.
I have the same problem.
And trying again doesn't work!
My phone has the WiFi saved with correct pasword and says saved, secured with WPA/WPA2 - but when i try to connect it it says authentication problem.
All other devices and phones in the flat work with the WiFi.
What can i do?
Cheers
Have had my Z1 do this ever since the 4.3 update, correct password/saved secured etc but still says Authentication Problem....
Have both of you above removed and reentered the details of the routers you are connecting to since the update?

Hi Sam, yes i have.....i did delete my email accounts (3 in total) & then basically started afresh.....strangely tho AUTHENTICATION ERROR does not appear all the time, as mentioned this has only appeared since the 4.3 update but could be coincidence.
Hello,
i have a problem while I am trying to connect to eduroam authenticated wifi network.
Here the symptoms.
Before connecting, the signal indicator shows full signal strength. When I am trying to connect, the signal dropped to the lowest and the "connecting" dialog stays and after some time it just went back to "saved, secured" thing and show full signal strength. At that point I had an “authentication problem” indication. Set up was the same as other android device that works perfectly.
Settings: EAP TLS PAP authentication.
Z1, 4.2.2, built 14.1.G.2.257
problem fixed with 4.3 upgrade!
what is meant by remove and reenter the details of the routers?
