Could you before? Or has your jack not worked since the beginning?

If your issue is due to a software problem you can try repairing your phone with Sony PC Companion.

However, if it hasn't worked since the beginning or if the jack has gotten damaged you may have a hardware issue that needs to be repaired. If so you should contact Sony Xperia Support.

I still have not resolved this issue. Nothing I plug into the headset jack works and the audio just continues through the phone speakers.

@PeterPa

Contact your local Xperia Support, it seems to be hardware related.

I have noticed that no one has recommended this yet; if you have not sent it in for repair yet please simply try cleaning the headphone jack gently with something soft like a cotton tip.

I had the same problem. I called customer support and they send me the computer repair link. That did absolutely nothing but waste my time. It was definitely a hardware issue. So I took it to my phone company provider and they ordered me a replacement. I paid $5 dollars out of pocket. The whole issue was really frustrating. Especially when your suppose to have a great smart phone with the latest technology. I suggest you go to your cell phone provider and swap your Xperia for a new one. good luck and I understand your frustration.
