Arc s internal memory question

hi all,

ive just bought an arc s LT18i and must say im very impressed, particularly with the screen and how good is the hdmi out! im amazed at the definition from a phone. i want to get a blue tooth mouse and surf the net on my tv via my phone amazing!

My question which has probably been asked many times is regarding the very small internal memory.

The way i see it is it dosent matter because i can put a large sd card in the phone, BUT it would make more sense to me if i can force the phone to leave the internal memory for just running the phones software and every app, song, video ect placed on the sd card?

This dosent seam to be the case as there are apps i cant move? why not put a setting to force everything to use sd card ?

So does this mean i have to install a custom rom like ultimate hd?

i get it -

ram - 532 mb/s

internal - 3.9 mb/s

sd - 4.1 mb/s

so question is why dosent the phone use the internal memory for cache/ swap and the sd card for all apps, songs, video ect?

this would make more sense?

As far as I understand some apps does not have support to be moved to the SD card. That's why you can't move all apps to the SD card. All apps you can move the the SD card are listed under the tab "on SD card" that you'll find under settings > apps > (manage apps).
