Apps running in background

Any way you can disable these till you turn phone back on..or want to use them again?

apps like call of duty anf facebook when i check them in batterry usuage they seem to be running in the background even when phone is off

will stamina mode help

In battery usage you see how much they have drained.But if you are connected to internet,they will drain continuously,especially facebook.You can disabled background data,but you will not receive facebook notifications.You can enable stamina mode,see if it helps you.

Try pressing the multi window and swipe out the apps you want to end.

Facebook is one of those apps who usually runs in the background processes since it is updating every time on posts, comments and everything. With this, rather turn off or disable Auto-sync, it will save battery consumption.

I do not believe it still runs in the background even the phone is turned off, since RAM is a type of volatile memory....
