App Compatibility

Hey there,

I'm really happy with my Xperia S, besides the average battery life it's the perfect phone for me. There is however one major problem, app compatibility. Maybe it's just me, but recently almost every app I have wanted to get didn't exist in the app store, I would then google the apps which I knew existed and it would ask me if I want to open it in the app store, when I do it says "Your device isn't compatible with this version." I have forgotten most of the apps, but these are the ones I REALLY want: Google Wallet, NBA JAM and NBA 2K13. Is there a solution?

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is yet another app that displays the same message, really want this one too.

Come on guys, can anyone help? Is the only solution to contact the developers of the apps and hope for the best? I think that's pretty ridiculous if you need to contact the developers whenever you want a decent app, especially considering the fact that contacting EA, Rockstar and Google would probably be pointless. I sort of understand HQ games like these needing certain resolutions(well not really, I think it's bullsh*t) but Google Wallet? Really?

Thanks for all the help so far guys.

Application compatibility can depend on phone software, customization, display resolution and market.

To know the exact reason why an application is not listed as compatible for your device you will have to turn to the app developer.

Thanks for the reply, i'm still looking for a more direct answer though. The thing is, these are all popular big name apps, I can't be the only one with an Xperia S who is annoyed about this, and that's the reason I made this thread. I want to hear from someone who owns an Xperia S, just a simple answer such as "I have the same problem, it's not acceptable" or "All these apps run on my Xperia S so the problem is on your end" is what I'm looking for.

GTA Vice City doesn't work properly on Xperia S. When driving a car, the phone suddenly freezes and needs a force reboot. The rest are probably not available due to your area. You can search for the free apps like google wallet, you're likely to find a couple .apks

How did you get Vice City on your phone though? >.< haha, thanks though. Apps say "Not avaible in your country" or something like that when they aren't available in your area so I don't think that's the case. Starting to think I should've bought an iPhone instead, wow.
