Any body??? Pls help me to share how come did you update your Firmware... I haven't seen any updates to my phone yet but in my Xperis Z there i a new Firmware update

Hi Dude, planning to get my phone on hot gadgets, did you get your phone there? how was it? i know it's a bit off topic.

Regarding the update, you can always use flashtool. However, it voids the warranty of the phone. Just patiently wait for the update. Recommended update will be through SUS since   PCC is somewhat buggy.

The phone was good. And it would be very practical to buy there bec it has a free DK31 but the disadvantage is you don't have a sony warranty. But i guess i was not so lucky bec i got a Z1 that has so many issues about the screen maybe bec of the right firmware that the Z1 should had.

screen issues? what problems do you have on the screen? or does it have the overheating issue?

I got my ZL from hot gadgets way back and phone was really good with no problems at all.. planning to get the z1 from the same store also. However with all the problems posted here, I really am having doubts.

Honestly not only Sony is encountering problems about smartphone but also other companies like iphone and samsung this maybe bec of the fast relasing of products they don't have enought time testing and calculating everythig but overall Z1 was AWESOME promise.


The screen has a yellow hue tint. And sometimes it would blackout but restarting the phone will resolve the issue and whike playing games the touch will suddenly stop and what i've notice lately was ending a phone call while tapping the end icon the call was not stop at all. But they say that the new update almost fix everything that's why i am waiting for it.

I'm in philippines right now and i bought it last week seens they release it. I actually updated my phone in latest firmware update by manually update and i dont if it safe.

I have issue in specs of my xperia z1. I download "antutu Benchmark" apps to see my spec if is correct i relealized that my resolution is wrong "1080x1776" instead of 1080x1920. I'm just saying my specs problem and i dont know if anyone has a some problem to mine. (sorry for bad english).

I think the yellow hue tint is the cause of faulty calibration of the triluminos display tech.

Thanks for the feedback and it's sad that if the unit has problems it would since it does not have a sony warranty. planning to replace my ZL. However, due to the faulty first batch modls. I think i should wait or probably wait for the next flagship..

Once the update lands on your phone, kindly send me a pm if it resolve the case. Have you tried informing the store? it has 3 days replacement

Yeah i've tried to go back to the store buy when i check to anothee unit it was the same i guess it is not a problem of a triluminous display tech. But a firmware or what so ever. I guess "Hndi pa tama ang TIMPLA" hehehehe

Yeah i have tried that application to and when i check what your trying to say. Unfortunetly it's true. It has 1080x1776 not following the specs given by sony of 1080x1920 of resolution

I hope this is not a first batch defect.. do you also have overheating issues?
