ANT+ support?

ANT+ support?

Can anyone confirm, if this phone has hardware support for ANT+ protocol (used for lots of fitness accessories and devices)? Xperia Active and other previous generations phones supported it.

Google Play Market should allow to install this app on compatible devices: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dsi.ant.service.socket

It really is a dealbraker for me.

Does this mean that all phones that have the BCM4330 have ANT support?

Does anyone know of any tear downs that show the Acro has BCM4330, because sony says otherwise?

Hello, what did I say is based on what I've seen in real device, what you judge is based on a non-updated document, as you are a supperuser, don't guide people with wrong information. If you doubt about Acro S supports ANT+, I bet 100$ for it supports.

2011 Sony Ericsson android products except Xperia play have ANT+ supported

Do you have any proof other than your word that it supports ant+/ has BCM4330 (I'm looking to buy a new phone and need it to have ant+ capabilities for my other devices.

That's why I asked the other user so he can confirm it, I did not pushed the other user that he was wrong, I seek confirmation so I can deliver the true specification.

I supplied the link because afaik ant+ supports a different hardware chip. as I found that your claiming Broadcomm (BCM4330) is the one carrying the ant+ protocol. but if you can supply the link or that prooves otherwise, i'd be willing to pay you a virtual $100 ( since I don't have that kind of money :smileywink:)
