I have bought a Sony Home Cinema system with wifi. With my phone I now can play music, movies etc on my TV. It works with Throw on my phone. But now, even when I am not connected and not even in the neighborhood of my HCS I got the messages on my screen all day long: Null (that's the HCS) is now connected, play your video and music via your Sony Xperia. I guess it's a bug, but do I stop these messages, it's really annoying.
That sounds very strange. When looking at the phone when this happens, does it show the WiFi-symbol?
Have you tried to disable device notification under Settings -> Xperia -> Throw settings?
Rickard I can confirm this bug. Actually stopped me from using Throw with my Onkyo receiver. It starts has soon as I've used Throw, turning off WiFi and turning WiFi back on. So yes, it is related to the app or service being triggered by the availability of WiFi.
I haven't tried turning the notifications off but that should be an acceptable workaround. I was able to get rid of the messages by killing every service and app I thought could be related, but it's easier just to reboot your phone.
