Annoying Notification When there is 'No Service'

Since the last update, everytime I enter a signal blackspot (No service) I get a stupid notification sound using the default system sound.

When I'm driving it interupts music play back and everything. It's really annoying and I can find no way to turn it off or set it to 'none' as you can with other notifications. I live in an area with poor service and it goes off at night if the signal drops. I need to turn it off!!

Hi @nigsy116

Please, try boot your device into safe mode to check if this issue persists:

http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/FAQ/How-to-boot-your-phone-into-safe-mode/m-p/348008#U348008

If everything works ok in this mode, third party app its creating this issue.

Did you get anwhere with this? I have same problem on z1 after latest update. Not an external app issue because it still does it in safe mode. Its really annoying and I hope an option to disable it is released soon. It will put me off getting the z5 if it has the same (imo) problem.
