Android version to be 5.0, Lollipop name confirmed

Ok with all the heating and cut batt life for z1, should i wait for a new os or do the software repair with pc companion, but the warranty from the selling store will be void. If the service center doea the repair, my phone will be stuck to kitkat,no more os upgrades can be made

If you do a software repair with pcc,can u still upgrade to new os versions??

Of course,that will not be a problem.You can safely use PCC or SUS to repair.

well hope sony consider this 5.0 to come in may devices like z zl zr z1 z1c z ultra tablets and z2 t2 ultra and more but why sony isisnt releasing bug fix for z1 and z1c because sony fixed  xperia sp,l,m,and now z2 but did they forget the bugs on z1 and z1c

1 battery life 

2 heating issue

3 wifi bluetooth lag

4 camera software is poor for low light because of horrible post processing

The new upcoming version of Android, called Android L was announced recently at Google IO and it brings a lot of new features, especially improvements and they redesign the Android UI. (More info here: http://developer.android.com/preview/index.html) Do you guys think that it will be likely that Sony will update our Xperia Z to Android L in the future? I personally don't think so considering that they already up updated it up to KitKat.
