Android version for Xperia Arc

What information do I have to chek in order to find out which android version is running in my smartphone? I am on Android Version 2.3.4 and version number 4.0.2.A.0.42. Am I upgraded? The PC says it's impossible to install actualization (erro 0x803d0020). What can I do? Please help me!

You can see what is running on your phone by going into menu > settings > about phone > then build number.
