Android update

I have an Xperia Arc S LT18i(2010 or 2011)  with 4.0.3 Android version and I have the 4.1.B.0.587 version available but I can't install it,it says "could not install".

Could you help me ?

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Are you trying to update via PC Companion? If so, try to re-install PC Companion and try again. If it doesn't work, you could try using another computer to see if the issue is isolated to the phone or the pc.
