More news to come !
Hello Everyone.
I'm owner of Xperia Z5 Dual E6633 from Polish Market. Recently I have updated my phone via OTA to Marshallow edition 32.1.A.1.163. After that i have encountered some problem.
I've contacted with Polish support and after long discussion they asked me to post my comments about system revision on global developpers forum, as they cannot help or solve my comments.
1.No stamina mode - I can accept that doze is working somehow familiar (but as not aggresive=good in battery saving as Stamina mode) This could be improved
2. No ULTRA Stamina mode - its totally Must-be kill feature in my Z5. I ve bought this very expensive phone for this feature! It was working excellent in previous system revision.
3. No possibility to setup different ringtones separatelly for SIM-card (SMS&phone) This feature was available in Lolipop and it has to be fixed) Cheap chinese smartphone with has this feature...
4. Some issue with Icons in "Battety usage menu" no\gray icons (as on attached screenshots) Some functions has original icons soem not.
5. Lack of Statistics in "Diagnostic" menu - example no "Application Events" (as on attached screenshots)
6. Could You remove SIM-card icon (with SIM number)on status bar? It takes a lot of place, but is not necessary. Or You could combine it with information from which card is actuallly voice connection. Ex If I call from First card icon with number 1 could be coloured. Now If I call from SIM 1 i see hourglass icon on SIM2???? It is little confusing.
7. Can You add fast SIM card icon=switch on upper Slide menu (where BT, Wifi ex is) to change default SIM card for phone call? I've had it in my Samsung. Normally SIM1 is default for phone calls but I can switch to SIM2 very fast.
8. Can You combine You Sony Voice recorder in Dialer app? It would be kill feature. (Sometimes I need to note some information during phone call but I dont have pen\paper or cannot switch to Keep App.)

Thank You for Your help.
Best regards Radoslaw
It's not necessarily many people having issues, relatively speaking. The Z5 series is a popular phone, and usually it's mostly the people who have problems who go to look up the forums and post their issues. Most people don't feel the need to post if everything ran smoothly. We'd probably have a lot more people and replies here if there were wide-spread problems.
Also, it seems that most of the problems reported here, if you google them you can find owners of phones from many different manufacturers complaining about the same issues – including Nexus phones. Most of the times it's Google messing things up, and not Sony. I'm saying this mainly for the people blaming Sony and threatening to leave for another manufacturer; unless you ditch Android altogether, chances are you won't be happy.
Anamon, most people simply accept the fact that their phone is poor without complaining on forums. Most of people I know doesn't even know that there are brands' owned forums.
Yesterday evening, my wife's friend was complaining the poor battery life of her device and, I guess, it is the most common complain. But she is at the lowest level of "nerdiness". People over this forum raise the "nerd" bar, so they are aware that something is going wrong. Other people simply change the phone after some months, because it, if they can afford it.
For the companies forum like this are, I hope, a way to know if there is something wrong with their product.
I truly regretted updating my Z5 Dual to the latest marshmallows version coz it truly:
No more dual ringtone
Very much shorter battery life
Takes a long time to charge
This is certainly not what I paid for....
Truly regretted and disappointed
PS:
I will no longer buy a Sony phone. Am changing to Samsung...

Me too bro. Just waiting for 64GB S7 edge(in my country only 32GB is available, and I need dual SIM and more storage) or Note 6.
