android market log in problems

hi my arc can connect and browse the web but the android market app cannot connect to google to sign in. but from the web browser i can log in to the android market website. how can i fix this? i've tried to log in to the android market app many many times but it doesnt connect. help. thanks!

Hey thanks for getting back. Yes I did try to do almost  everything. Wiped my memory card clean n factory resetted my phone, cleaned all the saved applications data and settings bt nothing seemed to work. .as a last desperate act I even bought a fresh memory card but before I could try it, I gave it a last try n it worked ..mayb the device got bored. lol.

Btw I forgot to mention this the last tym bt the problem stated after my cousin replaced the memory card in my phone. Bt I had all the files from the card backedup jz in case, so I tried with n without the files bt it didnt seem to work. .

At first I thot it was a server error/ crash bt I kept at it for almost two weeks so I dont suppose it could b my 3G or google server error. Nt dat it matters now bt wat do u suppose could b the problem?? Just curious in case it crops up again. . Thanks a bunch.

Frankly, not sure .... It could be software related, as you know .... electronic and software stuff!

I have the same problem as Isabella.I tried to master reset,and when i sign in to my google account,they said "cant establish a reliable data connection to the server."when i tried to download the PC companion,they said "the content is not supported by your phone". So what am I supposed to do?Please reply ASAP

I don't now if it helps but here is a personal experience with a Samsung Galaxy S +. A friend of mine had this phone for a long time and life got us together at this new job we have. She did not suceed to connect her phone with her google account from the time she bought the darn thing ( a year or so), I tried myself to link them (phone to ggl account) from work over wi-fi, and one evening she texts me she succeeded from her wireless router at home (although she tried that numerous times).. What conclusion can one draw from this? None! Technology seems to be stranger nowadays

it said that if a master reset doesnt work,you need to do a software repair on the phone using PC companion.But when i tried to download the PC companion,it cannot be downloaded because the content is not supported on my phone. So none of the methods work for me.what should i do?
