I've just installed the new available update to android 4.3 but regretted it afterwards when i saw the new user interface.
1st. The white background on the widgets and settings menu looks awful. And it is not consistent everywhere, in some submenus and widgets it's black. The old white text on black background looked much better.
2nd. The xperia theme i had set and liked is gone, replaced by a handful of new themes. And the text colors do not change everywhere when changing the theme.
3rd. Some options are gone, like : the security question for the screen lock pattern, the developer options (advanced options).
4th. The camera quick launch on the locked screen is of no real use : it's not quiet - it makes a sound when you launch it which you cannot get rid of, it doesn't remember the manual focus settings - it always switches to auto, it's not quick - it takes more time to launch the camere this way than it would to unlock the screen and open it from the main screen.
5th. The screen closed much faster, now it fades out.
Overall, i muched preffered the old UI and wish there was a safe way i could downgrade to the 4.2, or at least get some options to change colors and such because this update is a step backwards.

You do know Google has hidden the developer options since Android 4.2 right?
Go to Settings, About phone and tap on the Build number 7 times.
