Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for Xperia Sola & U?

Sony in their announcement today declared that 2012 devices will recieve the Jelly Bean update, however the list of phones doesn't mention Xperia Sola and U? What sort of a contradiction is this ?

Xperia Go (same internals) and Xperia J (way inferior) have been listed. Did Sony give the list as an example or made a mistake by not mentioning?

Senior members and Sony representaives please clarify.

In response to all your queries i would like to inform you all that the quality of Xperia software experience is dependent on a number of factors including :: "screen resolution", "hardware platform and RAM". In the case of Xperia Go , Xpera E & Xperia J, this combination came together in a way that meant the user experience running Jelly Bean was not adversely affected.

Unfortunately, in the case of Xperia sola this was not the case so Sony made the decision to keep them on Ice Cream Sandwich"

i noe this ... but wat about xperia E and xperia J .. ? they also have same amount of ram nd same processor ... !! why they getting jelly bean... ? xperia E dont even have dual core ... !! nd it have same screen size as of xperia u ... i was so excited when  buyed xperia u ..!! i thought that it will recieve jelly bean update in 5-6 months but it is worthless .... i am running 6.1.1.B.54 which is verry buggy ... i have used sony's jelly bean... it was awesome ... i appreciate your hard work .... but plz make sure that u satisfy ur xperia u costomers also ... since they are midranged .. u r not releasing any update .... u r still updating xperia s xperia z xperia p ... i dont noe .. i want sony jelly bean in my xperia u ... because it is awesome ... !! i trust sony very much ... people keep saying that sony is worthless but i cant speak a word against sony ... plz make sure that this trust on sony dont loose

If other manufacturers can provide for their customers, why can't you? I own a Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, and I am considering the Xperia V for a new phone. However, given your, Sony, way of releasing updates, it worries me by a whole lot. My current phone, the Mini, is more than capable to run Android Jelly bean, as a matter of fact. However, it was left out. The Xperia J, with a weaker Chipset, CPU and GPU, got the update. Screen resolution and RAM isn't an issue, either, because the Xperia Go has the same resolution as the Mini, of an 320 x 480 HVGA res., and the 512MB RAM and it also got the update. As a company committed to providing customers the best of whatever there is, you should have been fair as well among owners of your products -- mobile phones, in particular. If your flagships and most of your middle-range phones can have the updates, why not those which specs are very qualified as well? The Sola could have also been a great choice for me, if it weren't stuck on ICS. You see, your phones are unquestionably great; however, your provision for aftersales customer satisfaction not up to par with other manufacturers. I know that you are not them, but at least you could've rivaled their service as well, because you products are undeniably good. Please Sony. Release updates accessible for everyone trusting your brand, whose owned products are qualified.

Developers of sony already spoiled our phones ( xperia Sola) by giving us ics update and we can't expect any kind of support from developers of sony

In the list of devices that will receive this update has almost the entire line XPERIA, 2012, except for Sony xperia Sola and Sony xperia U. We believe that this decision is a very silly and pointless, because many owners of these devices are expected to upgrade to Android JB and were very saddened by the news. Especially update Xperia J and Xperia GO was very humiliating for the owner of Sola and U as These devices are identical in characteristics, and then even better than J and GO.Srazu the company SONY falls in front of thousands of owners korotorye not get 4.1. We hope that you wish your customers means a lot, and that you listen and update Xperia Sola and Xperia U to Android 4.1. After all, they too have a right to enjoy JB.

Its not worth complaning about it.. sony never reads it anyway... i mean for 150$ you can get one of huaweis budget handsets and even they got android 4.2.2... but why would sony let all of our customers down?? i mean everybody dont have 750$ to spend on to get sonys newest handset...
