Hi

Just wanted to know if the alarm should sound when the phone is switched off? Because mine does not.

I prefer to keep my phone off at night. Is there a way that the alarm can be made to sound even when phone is off?

You mean switched off completely - The answer there is no and nothing will do what you ask

You could try to set your phone on airplane mode overnight,almost the same as being turned off.

LE: If I remember correctly,my old W810i was capable of turning on if it was off for the alarm to ring.

 If it is set and screen turned off (short press on side button) then alarm will still sound. If phone is switched right of (long press and select Phone Off) then alarm will not sound. Alternatively you could set phone ring to silent if you do not wish to be disturbed by calls at night.
