Alarm settings

Hi my phone recently had an update, prior to that I used music from my albums which I'd use as an alarm. Since the update I can't use any of the songs at all. What do I need to do to change the settings?

Settings >> Apps >> Menu 3 dots  >> Reset App Preferences

Then go back and try again.

When selecting music etc, click Sound Picker >> Just Once >> Octave (top right)

or Media Storage >> Just Once  for tones.

Don't select Always.
