Adaptive brightness too dark

The screen brightness in low light is very dark. It is difficult to do read things and pictures appear just way too dark. Have I missed something or is the adaptive brightness feature really not customizable? And I wonder, is anybody satisfied with the adaptive brightness as it is?

I don't mean the intelligent backlight (i.e. that the screen does not switch off while you hold the phone in your hand) but rather the automatic change of screen brightness depending on the brightness sensor readings (i.e. full brightness in daylight, darker in low light).

I totally agree Mivox, mine is fine in the day but far too dark at night.

I put adaptive birghtness on in the day and turn it off everynight and manually set brightness. Never had to do this with my Z2 though!
