Activesync SSL certificate won't install

Hi,

Have been trying to install a GoDaddy SSL certificate on my Z so that I can use Exchange Activesync.  Through the activesync setup it says the certificate is installed, however the EAS setup doesn't work.  When I go back to the same web page and start the process again I get the same certificate error.

Tried manually copying the certificate to the internal storage on the phone and install it.  Again, all okay and says the certificate is installed but when I go to the web page again it says the certificate is untrusted.  When I check the installed certificates on the phone, my server certificate is not in either the System nor the User section.  To me this, combined with the web page message, says the certificate was not installed properly.

Any assistance appreciated.

Paul.

Simple thing but have you checked so that your phone has correct time and date set under Settings -> Date & time?

I've also heard of cases where the operators proxy can cause problems for secure connections. Try removing proxy/port from Settings -> More -> Mobile networks -> Access Point Names -> [your settings] and see if that helps.
