About the timescape and screen shot

I have xperia S and suddently timescape stopped wotking its not updating, also sometimes while playing game i feel its slowing down for 5 secs or something then its okay why its happening?

also how can i take a screenshot say i am in facebook on xperia and i want to take screenshot of that how can i do that?

First of all I would recommend a software update/repair if you have problems with processes hanging, stop working or freezing.

Regarding the screenshots you just press and hold down the on/off button in any application to take a screenshot.

I tried to get screenshot the way you told but its not working for me, as i press on/off button at the top it shows whether i want to switch off phone or change mode.

you must press and hold them together (power button + volume down) for 2-3 seconds.
