6.0.1 poor network connection

Since updating to 6.0.1 I have had real problems with Lte connectivity..
I had great reception under previous android, but now it hardly connects for data (calls seem to be okay)..
I've tried wcdma preferred, but it doesn't appear to make any difference.

Anyone else got this problem, or any solutions?

I've got just the same issue. After updating to Marshmallow  APN was set to IPv4 only. After I've changed to IP v4/v6   3G stopped lagging and is working fine now.  Update from 5.1 to 6.0 works with mistake.

Recently I update my Xperia Z2 (D6502) to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow Build number 23.5.A.0.570 from India. After the update I am faceing some issues.

1. Network issue. Preffered Network - GSM Only = No Signal, Preffered Network - WCDMA Only = 1 or 2 / 3 Bar Signal. But in my   Sony Xperia M4 Aqua, Preffered Network - GSM Only = Full Signal, Preffered Network - WCDMA Only = 2 or 3 Bar Signal.

2. Screen goes Black. My Sony Xperia Z2 (D6502) screen goes black when making and receiving a call. So I cannot end the call and cannot select any option from phone key on call.

So many times I repair my phone by Xperia Companion. But same problem. Please help.

In my Sony Xperia M4 Aqua the Network...................

After repacing the SIM Card Z2 to M4 Aqua and M4 Aqua to Z2, same problem. Also I have try with a new SIM Card, but the problem is same.

So please help.................

Hello i'm back again 😕 

I'm write before 18 days about update Z2 to 6.0.1 and after that i have low microphone and i spend alot money for talk becase nobody can hear me ..  i see that sony talk with us and they write about new update (fix) for that ..ok but after 18 days test SONY Z2 on new 6.0.1 WI-FI signal is lower and i  have problem with SIM network (2G-3G) ..

When i reset my phone and download internet settings from phone or ask my mobile network operator they send me network settings and i have all the time same problem .

I set 2G/3G network in city and try open youtube aplication and just loading and after 2-3 minutes i have error "An error occurred" when i try other android aplication like " live score" same problem "just loading " when i change my phone to WI-FI aplication works fine .

I change my network package from 1G to 4G download (7,2 Mb/s  - 2 Mb/s) becase that but i can't nothing open only facebook work and viber is slow with send message (loading -,- ) ..my phone is clean , fresh  hard reset ..

Please don't write use repair xperia with program i try all (first for microphone now for this ) and it's same problem.

Update just destroyed my phone ..before update he works good ! 

Can you please in next update (make fast please) fix WI-Fi , microphone and network(sim) connection ?! 

Or i will send my phone to trash like my LT30 becase update (4.3) ..

P.S. i have all screenshots for this. I test on speedtest application and i can see that my phone can't work over  1mpbs  :S

Loss of network signal during calls & drops out - Z3 Dual D6633

Hello and thanks for the time to read

I have recently purchased a Z3 Dual sim D6633 and around twice a day either when receiving or making a call the phone suddenly drops out during conversation and both network strength bars are showing no signal. a message briefly shows up saying no no network signal ( or something to that effect ) then dissappears. A few seconds later the signal comes back for both sims and all is ok again.
I have absolutly no idea why this is happening but its becoming frustrating especially when I have to call clients back....

Has anyone experienced this before or know a fix for it. currently Sim 1 is set for GSM only (2G) and Sim 2 for LTE. both are on Telstra.
The phone updated to the latest version when I got it and to my knowledge hasnt updated since - 5.0.2

Would really appreciate your help with this, thanks

I have a Z3 dual, didn't notice such an effect. I have one SIM at LTE preferred and one at GSM only. Can you test if this happens in safe mode?

You can also repair your phone with PCC or get a brand new NANO SIM card

So ive had the phone in safe mode but didnt even last the morning before it dropped out, exactly the same issue with loss of network message and both signal bars in the top of screen showing nothing. few seconds later they both light up again and I can make another call.

Really not sure where to go from here

What does PCC do, is it able to detect faults the phone has logged and repair based on this ?

PC Companion phone repair will do a clean installation of the latest firmware and will also wipe your internal memory. It a more powerful error fixing tool than factory reset, so it will give an idea if it was a software fault or you need to send the phone to maintenance.

ive the same probleam its happed only if i install two sim and i only lose network while reacive calls
also i make factory rest to the phone and change the sim and still face this
note i use the sim 1 only for data and sim 2 only for calls

I have the same problem. I've changed my sim card today, it's Vodafone Portugal and it append again. Lost the data connection. At the store they say that it is a problem with the phone if it happens again and it did just now. I've already contacted Sony and they said that the problem is Vodafone but now I see it s not true. What can I do?

It isn't a SIM problem. I have MOVISTAR and I have the same problem. Very poor GSM signal since upgrade to Android 6.0.1
