4K and Timeshift video ported to Xperia Z1

why we have to root our phones for xperia z2 features........ sony could easily give us that 4k is not neccesary but software like backlight controll tap to wake timeshift video 1080p/60fps and some are needed so that z1 users can enjoy plus the still camera software needs alot of work for low light performance all this needed for z1

Please include double tap to wake like Xperia Z2 in upcoming Lollipop update.

Even the basic smartphones available in the market has these features and why not a flagship phone like Z1 missing this essential feature?

Xperia Z1 doesn't have this option, but I think some 3rd party apps can do it like this one:

Yes it will, but it's your the only alternative without modifying your phone. Other option is to load custom kernels, but this will void your warranty and may brick your phone.
