4 Steps Rooting for Xperia Go JB [6.2.A.1.100] from DooMLoRD of XDA [Locked and Unlocked Bootloader]

I do not own this post or whatever, just sharing.

Guys, can anyone try this rooting method and report back? I was not

able to bring my USB cable at work so I am not able to try it now.

STEPS

  1. just download the file, extract it completely using winzip/winrar DooMLoRD_Easy-Rooting-Toolkit_v14_perf-event-exploit.zip
  2. go to the folder where its extracted and execute "RUNME.bat"
  3. read and follow the instructions on the screen!
  4. REBOOT THE DEVICE AFTER THE SCRIPT HAS FINISHED EXECUTION!

SOURCE

[P/Go][ROOT] DooMLoRD Easy Rooting Toolkit (v14) {perf_event exploit}[20130624]

XDA Thread Link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2335992

Thanks to DooMLoRD from XDA Developers Android and Mobile Development Forum for the method

Thanks to eswawan for sharing it first in the Xperia Go Android Development XDA page.

Hope this helps and hope it works.

MODIFICATIONS AFTER ROOTING

I added this because I want to share what I and you have done with the Doomed XGo

phone after rooting. Please let me know what you have done too so that we can add

them to the list below. THanks

1. Modified the Phonebook, Phone and the Messaging app with DARK Themes

click here originally by jatinrungta from XDA

2. Debloated [JB Update] [6.2.A.1.100] List Of Apps/Bloatwares That Are Safe to Delete. Thanks to taboo5200 for the safe list

3. Installed Root version of greenify to save battery and RAM. Check here

I will add more if you tell me so.  Thanks

i think that's normal but there's a difference. If you noticed, those with line below the images are those contacts/sender which you are allowed to response or reply but take a look those sender/contact like service numbers or machine generated text sent to you, no lines below the images.(e.g BUDDY, 211, 8888,SMART,GLOBE,etc)

I updated the original post for some of the modifications that I made

with my phone related to rooting.

If you have modifications of your own from the stock JB 1.100 ROM and

doomed rooted, please share them here and I will update the original post

with your modifications. Just add the modification, the steps that you did

in order to achieve your modification, and, optionally, add the source link

Thanks,

Eljun

Hope someone could port/install Xperia ZU's theme to Xperia Go. It's pretty clean and nice. It's already working on sola, U, and other Xperia units.

Im checking out your work kinglauryl. I've been looking at the xda apps and mods forum... there is so much stuff, that i didnt know how to begin and what was worth installing, i guess you did that for us..  Also some people flash the new bravia engine and some cybershot camera mods, are that worth? would be nice to improve even more our camera..

What do you think of that ?
