3g not working after restore/ repair from pc companion

ive got xperia z just 2 months old . iam in india  few weeks ago i restored my phone using pc companion and it deleated all my apps and all the data in internal memory and after that  i was not able to use 3G . i got the software updated from the service centre  but its is still not working . please help . thank you in advance

Settings > xperia > internet settings 

is your data on?

You may have to re-enter your carrier's apn settings.

1) Google: "Your carrier's name APN settings"

2) From your phone go to Settings / More / Mobile Networks / Access Point Names / New

3) Enter the correct APN settings and hit save.

4) Select the recently saved APN.

Also, make sure you your network mode is not set to edge or LTE (if you dont have).
