32GB µSD-Card not recognized at all

Hello,

I just got my new Xperia L today and I am quite happy with it,

but somehow it does not detect my µSD-Card.

In the sd-card menu entries it only says "Enter SD-Card".

I tried to reformat the card with the computers card reader to FAT32 or to delete the partition completely using gparted,

it still does not show on the phone.

I am happy for any suggestions.

Edit: Got the wrong link for the sd-card, now it is the right one.

How can I get this new update? :s Sony Pc Companion says my phone is updated but I still have the 15.0.A.1.31 firmware... :s Is it because I'm in Portugal (service provider: TMN)? Will I get the update someday?  :s

i can confirm new firmware 15.0.A.2.17 fixed my memory card issues

Yes, even I read on one of the technical review that XPERIA L does nt have support for Class 10 SD Memory cards..

But recently, I think, the latest firmware has solved this issue.

Not sure. you can see which class your memory card has , it will have 4 or 6 or 10 within a C

The update is rolled out gradually for each country/operator and may need local and operator approvals before we can release it as with any update. Unfortunately i don't have any information regarding when it will be available for a certain country or operator.

The new update (15.0.A.2.17 )) fixed the class 10 microsd issue for me.

If the 4.3 upgrade brings USB OTG I will be very happy.

Hi, I just updated to15.0.A.2.17 my Xperia L two days ago. Before I update my phone, my 4GB SD card is working very well. But after the update, the phone does not recognize the same SD card I use. I tried to turn off, remove the battery and SD card, and start again, yet its not working. How would I fix this problem?

I have a Kingston 16Gb card class 10. It worked in my Xperia L with the first firmware, and after updating to the latest, it worked well too.

But today, the phone said "SD card removed. Please unmount your card before removing." - it was just on the desk, I have done nothing to it

And from this moment, the SD card is no more working... but not even in my PC :'(

Can someone tell me if a Kingston SDHC Class 10 32 GB Micro would be detected OK by an Xperia L with 15.0.A.2.17?

My Lexar SDHC 32gb card still doesn't work well with the new firmware.
