3.5 mm jack plug, not working with an Xperia E?

A 3.5 mm jack plug works with an Xperia Z and not with an Xperia E?  In order to get my phone working with the stereo of my car, do I have to configure my phone?  Somebody a suggestion?! Thanks!

So I downloeaded TOGGLEHEADSET 2. Its actually worked aswell. Like no many things happen for me but it work. SO baically download it. Then you have to add it as a widget .

1. Download it
2. Add as widget
3. Make sure its on and walla. If it didnt work try something else
