2000 mAh battery!

Hey all, 3 weeks ago I checked out ebay and found 2000 mAh for less than 4 dollars (with free shipping from China) so I decided to buy it. And I finally got it yesterday so I charged it for 7 houres and put it i my Xperia U phone and it has really done a good job, I dont need to worry to get low battery anymore so I can easily have the brightness on full.

So I wonder how long will this battery work? Will it be like the original Xperia U battery (but with 650 mAh more)?

Here is also a picture of the batery I took right after I got it DSC_0383.jpg

If you buy a battery, I would highly recommend buying one from a well known brand. A chinese one... well, I personally wouldn't put much trust into that...

They said the battery should be charged about 4-6 houres in first use, but I charged it with 7

It was too cheap and I got it home with no problem and it works now without any problems Slightly_smiling_Face

Nevertheless, problems can arrise later.

The battery itself would probably be the least of your concerns, since it was cheap, but if it damages the phone in any way, you probably won't be so happy about it Dizzy_Face

I do wish you the best of luck, don't want to sound so damn negative Dizzy_Face It's just that I rarely trust those. :smileymischief:

keep an eye on the battery's temp, if this battery damage your phone, your warranty won't cover it, not to scare you just to remind you, there are apps to do so or you can enter service menu.

Does it only damage the phone if the battery gets heat? If its so, then no big problem. And is there any app that shows if the battery is too much heated?

And it would be great to get a replay from any staff that knows more about this battery and damage kinds Slightly_smiling_Face
