2 queries about e-mails

First one.  I have a BT e-mail account and I also have e-mail addresses from my domain name that are diverted to the BT account so they all come in through the same inbox.  On my PC and laptop Outlook is set up so that the recipient of an e-mail sees my domain address and not my BT address, I have tried to do this with my Experia but it won't let me. I have tried several times but the only details it will accept are those of the BT address.  What do I do to get it to accept the domain address?

Second one.  This is probably simple. I have sent and received e-mails fine, the received e-mails stay where they should so that later I download them into Outlook on my PC. So far so good.  How do I get the sent e-mails from my phone into Outlook on my PC?  Looking at the options available with the PC Companion it gives them for co-ordinating addresses, files, diary etc but not an option for co-ordinating messages.  How do I get sent messages from my phone into Outlook

Hi,

From what you have described, this wouldn't be possible on the handset as standard as the accounts that you have (your private and your BT account) are seperate accounts. You would need to log into the phone using your private details communicating with the private domain/server. As your private account is seperate to your BT account, even though your private emails are forwarded to the BT account, they are still seperate email accounts.

You would be unable to communicate or log in to the private account via the BT servers . You would need to set up the account with your private server address and domian. Thus creating two seperate accounts which you can send/receive emails from.

With regards to your second question, any sent emails are stored within the client they are sent from . If you were to log into BT account on a PC you should be able to view the sent messages. However if were using a seperate client such as Outlook, the client would be unable to gain access to that information from the server.

Thanks for the response. I think I understand the first answer, it's not that important so I will probably just stick with the basic address.

On the second answer.  I may be missing something here but I sent some test messages from the phone.  With all my e-mails I review them in the btyahoo web browser and then import the ones I want into outlook. I have checked on my PC and the test messages have been received in the inbox of the btyahoo browser and show up but there is no record of the sending of the e-mails.  I have been into the BT main web site to see if I can find anything there but it just directs me back to the btyahoo browser.  When you talk about logging into the BT account on a pc what do you mean? Do you mean the btyahoo web browser or is there somewhere else I ought to be checking that I have not been able to find?
