XA1 ultra Sound volume does not work

The sounds suddenly stopped working today.. I tried to search for solutions and found out that there is a system upgrade however, when i checked, i have the latest upgrade. I was still able to use this yesterday. No ringtone, no alarm, no music.. SONY heelllpppp!!!!

Start troubleshooting by restarting your phone into safe mode, this will disable all installed 3rd party apps. If the problem is resolved then one of your installed apps is causing this issue and you have to figure out which one. Start by uninstalling those apps you installed recently.

Thanks! it worked! I uninstalled the latest app and restarted the phone.

Can I ask what app it was? I have the same problem and would prefer to not uninstall every single one. Lol

Also I found that simply restarting sometimes fixes it temporarily. But when the alarm goes off, there's no sound. It goes like this. ..

-Set and test the alarm. 

-No sound.

-Reboot, test again and it works fine.

-Alarm goes off in the morning-no sound.

sorry... can't really remember as it's a new app for me too... but I think it's one of those app that teaches languages like Duolingo.. but it's not Duolingo since I still have that app in my phone
