XA1 not recognized by PC

Hi,

when i connect my XA1 G3121 Android 8 with PC it is only charging and connection mode on phone is greyed out.

i can not change the connection mode on phone.

restarting both devices did not help.

factory reset did not help.

please tell me how to connect via USB to PC in storage mode?

SOLVED, it was that stupid USB cable that i recently bought, that USB-C cable is labeled with SONY but it is devently broken because it only charges and does not transmit any data. The PC storage connection works just fine with a different cable from my brother.

How can a official labeled Sony USB cable be broken and only charge the phone battery? (its printed on the platic at the ending and there is a Sony paper attached to the cord.)

That  merchant will get a nice mail from me...
