Warranty Limited to US

Hi

I would like to gift Xperia XA2 to my friend in Philippines. In Amazon, the factory unlocked version says warranty only in US. In case of facing any problem, it cannot be claimed in Sony Centre, Philippines? Could anyone help me on this topic?

@vinodsv91 for as long as I can remember Sony does not offer worldwide/international warranty....your handset whichever model, is covered by warranty in the country purchased only. Therefore if you were to purchase a handset for your friend & ship it to him, if there was any problem that would be covered by warranty he would have to ship it back to you for you to implement the repair.
