my usb charging port overheated and the cable was too hot to pull out of the usb port after plugged the usb cable into my phone less than a minute.

Are you using the original Sony wall charger and USB cable that came bundled with the phone?
Did you expose your phone to water recently? Are you sure that the USB port doesn't have any trapped moisture?
