Sd card problems

I upgraded my sony z3 to sony xa2. I could store deezer music on external sd card on z3.

Now on my new phone when i go on app settings to change storage from internal memory to sd card, no sd card is available.

I formatted my sd card, deleted deezer, reinstalled deezer, yet deezer still wont allow me to store music on sd card?!?!

Also allowed permission 'storage' for deezer app which changed nothing.

The phone recognises the sd card as i can transfer videos and pictures.

My wife has the xa1 and her sd card can be used as internal memory and she has the choice to either save data on sd card or internal memory as default, i do not have this option on my phone... Why is this?

Thats because the phone wont have the option, and sorry and dont know why sony do it but u cant

Well that's the thing, sony DO do it (if that makes sense). I could on my z3zand my wife can on her xa1, i think its a feature they have just started to disable though for some reason. Now have to look at forcing adopting storage i think

iv tried to force adoptive storage, you cant as the internal memory is encrypted,think thats why you cant move apps or anything else for that matter except media,sony better fix this soon, i have 64gig sd card with only 2gig used but most of internal is nearly full,thing is when you have an almost full internal a message comes up telling you to move things,bit rubbish really as you cant
