Oreo update

Had an email from Sony informing me of the Oreo update and just downloaded and successfully installed (it said) the Android 8 Oreo update. My question is why does it still show Android 7 in "about phone" and not Android 8? Has something gone wrong? I rebooted the phone but still says Android 7.   Thank you.

Android 8.0 is not released yet for Xperia XA1 Ultra, so I think you misread the email you've received.

Oh goodness, yes just re-read it and it does not mention OREO, just that there was a software update and there was me getting all excited 😁 Thanx for that!!
