Dialer XA1 Ultra

Hi,
I am really disgusted; how can Sony seriously want to compete with other brands of smartphones, with such a basic Dialer ..?
In the XA1 Ultra the dialer application is called "Phone" version 3.00.00.H.85.
I have never seen such a simplistic Dialer !!
For example the dialer at Meizu or Asus is over 15 MB while the dialer Sony is only 1.45 MB!
Is there any way to update this ***** Dialer or install another Dialer that could also support calls and receiving calls ..?

Kindly post your future questions/feedbacks in English only so we can assist you, this is an English based forum.

While I respect your opinion, but I also disagree with it. Some people choose Sony because it offers simple yet functional apps. I find that the small size of the app is a plus as it's not consuming space from my internal memory, and at the same time, it does everything a dialer should do.

You can always find 3rd party dialer apps in the Google Play Store, with more customization capabilities and bigger app sizes

15 Mo can consume space of your internal memory...? lol : )
And simplicity does not mean unproductivity...
The sony dialer can just call and hang up ...! Wow, what efficiency !
And why not then make a simple photo application, like the dialer ..?
Maybe it's not 15 Mo for a GOOD dialer which can consume internal space memory, but all useless's apps of Google...
Seriously, you use just one time Google Book ...?

Sorry if you had the feeling that my tone would have been aggressive, I'm just disappointed that we pay $ 400 for a phone, where we can not even have a suitable dialer !!

Asus Dialer Zenui = 17.77 MB
Meizu Dialer = 11.80 MB
Sony dialer = 1.42 MB

I think it's more useful to make a good dialer than to multiply "themes" that are useless :
- Amazing theme, for what..?
- Aumtumn theme, for what...?
- Color pixel theme, for what...?
- Winter snow theme, Easter theme, Valentines's theme, Tattered strape theme, Craftsmanchip theme, Little bigplanet theme, etc etc etc etc etc ...

So, someone could tell sony, we don't need 1 000 000 themes, just need more app's, more goods app's !! A best Dialer, A best App for messaging, a best app for contact, a best app for Music, a best app for video, a best app for photo, ... but not 1 000 000 themes !!

I think using the app size as a basis for comparison is not a valid argument. But again I ask you: what are the features that you miss in Sony's dialer?

I also hate this dialer I hate the bright white background I hate the small applet that pops up when you get a call when you phone screen is on and can't easily replace this god awful app.  If I had of known about htis app I would not have got this XA1 Plus.
