Keyboard

For some reason, the keyboard on my Xperia has changed. Model 53111

It used to be a 'standard' keyboard, but now it resembles one of the 'ergonomic' keyboards that were briefly popular; ie, the board is split in two. 1-5/QWERT is on the left, then there's a gap and then 6-0/YUIOP is on the right. The keys themselves are tiny: fine if you're about 9 years old, but not for a grown man with cumberland sausages for fingers. It's completely unuseable in this mode. I've looked in to trying to change it back, but the only option I can find is to change it to Chinese. Even less usefull (for me) than the child friendly keyboard I now have.

HELLLLPPPPP.

Hi @CygnusX1 and welcome to the community!

What Keyboard are you using? Is it Xperia Keyboard?

Yes. It's the touch screen keypad that was on the phone when I bought it about 18 months ago. It changed last week.

@CygnusX1

And can you please tell me wich keyboard do you have on your phone?

However, since you´re using a keyboard not made by Sony, you can probably find a better assistant in the community that uses the keyboard in question. However, i´ll try my best! Slightly_smiling_Face
