Issues after Oreo update

Hello, 

I have a Sony Xperia XA1 and since the update I've noticed my phone has been a lot slower. Additionally, if, for example, I'm playing a game on my phone and switch to Facebook, I used to be able to switch back to my game and it would be just the same. Since the update, all apps will restart if I switch to another app and then back. This also causes any Messenger or Discord calls to disconnect if I open any other app.

Is anyone experiencing this kind of problem?

I do not have the exact use case like yours, but, overall my phone has become better after the update... Touch wood. So no I have not experienced your issues.

There's nothing wrong with your phone that's how Android free up RAM, you probably have too many open apps and/or heavy apps running at the same time, thus causing this.

Yeah, but I don't have any new app on my phone, I have a lot of free space and even just a podcast and messenger crash.

And even if I don't have any app open, the keyboard and opening apps is reaaaally slow. Only since the update.

whenever I get a new major update  on any of my phones, this is what I do, Install the update > reinstall the update with Xperia Companion > it should smooth things out.

Have problems to, phone is slower and the battery doesn't last long as it did before
