Im having a trouble with my sony xperia xa

Please someone help me with my phone problem. Every time i charging it instead of recharging the battery gets drained. And sometimes super slow charging... I don't know where's the problem is,  my charger or in my phone.

Are you using a Sony wall charger or are you charging the phone through a computer, car charger?

Hi @Maemae1995, welcome to our forum and I'm sorry to hear about this.

As @uliwooly wrote, are you charging the device using the wall mounted charger or are you just using the USB cable and a USB port? If you are using the wall mounted charger, try charging it using a USB port if you have one available and the other way around.

You can also try charging your device while it's rebooted in safe mode so we can see if any of your downloaded applications are the cause of the device charging slowly, as they are temporarily inactivated in safe mode.

I already tried that safe mode while charging. The phone goes into a charging state, but the percentage of the battery instead of increasing it's decreasing.

There was no change when you tried charging it using a USB port instead of the wall mounted charger or the other way around? If you have another charger / cable that you can use, for example if one of your friends, colleagues or family members also have an Xperia device and you can use their charger and charge your device.

Should there be no change with another charger / cable, try performing a software repair using Xperia Companion. This way we can see if this is caused by the software in the device as is it will be reinstalled when performing the repair.

Do note that all data stored on the internal storage will be deleted when performing the repair, so creating a backup using Xperia Companion is advised.
