I want my sd card to be the default storage for apps

Every time i download its giving me an option to erase other apps for me to be able to install it though i already have sd card. Its like it was automatically saving to my internal memory. Help how can i change that? How can i Switch into sd card as default storage

Hi @Talizhot, welcome to our forum!

You can't install applications to the SD card directly, they need to be installed on the internal storage and then moved to the SD card (do note that the entire application is not moved, only the .apk file).

The APK is the file that was downloaded when you installed the app from Google Play. Additional data, such as private data, databases and Opaque Binary Blob (OBB) files will remain on the internal storage. The OBB files are not affected at all when you move an app, since the OBB file is generally put outside the app folder. The path is known by the app and used by the app. The path can't be changed, otherwise the app would not find the OBB file.

Not all applications can't be transferred to an SD card either, as this is up to the developer of the application to add support for.
