Duplicate text when replying to emails

Each time I reply to an email on my phone, it duplicates my text.  Not each letter, but the entire message.  

I am using the email program that came with the phone.

I am having no issues when using the computer.

Any thoughts on what I need to adjust?

Hi @trena, welcome to the community.

Try resetting the email app and re-configuring it. 
NOTE! If you have a pop3 account set up, you will lose the emails in your inbox unless they are still stored on the server.

Go to Settings > Apps > Email > Force Stop > Storage > Clear Data.
