com.android.phone stopped working

After I did 40.0.A.6.162  software update was done and now the phone service does not work

"com.android.phone stopped working"  constantly pops up. There is no service provider detected.

I have cleared data and cache for phone services, restart in safe mode - problem persists. Factory reset done and still have the same issue.

Please help!

The solution is simple, activateur the air plane mode and desactivate it.

Just went to a Videotron Boutique and they tried to swap my SIM card, but it didn't work for me so they gave me a brand new phone and deactivated Automatic System Update on it and told me to do the update only in January 2018. So now I have a brand new phone. Bravo Sony pour avoir lancé une mise-à-jour qui scrap nos téléphones !!!  Winking_Face

Have a great day all!

Okay so I went to Videotron and they change the sim card and reset the phone. It seems to work for now.
