Hello,
Got an Xperia XA back in November 2016.
Issue: Brightness is not Bright enough. Sometimes it gets enough brightness but when I lock the screen and unlock, it goes back to a lower level of brightness. I have to either go to the brightness slide and keep sliding it back and forth from Min to Max and hope the brightness level kicks in. In the dark, its readable at max brightness but useless in the daylight even at max bright.
This happens even in Safe Mode. I've gone back to the store and they have advised to send it in for repair which means i lose the phone for 1-2weeks.
This happens even after resetting the phone.
Help: I'm trying to find out if this is something that can be fixed on my own.
Adaptive Brightness: Off
Smart Backlight Control: Off
Image EnhancementL Super-vivid mode
White Balance: R=0, G=0, B=0
Build Number: 33.2.A.2.73
You could repair the phone with XC but it'll be wise to follow their suggestion and get it inspected by your Local support
