Brightness level

Xperia XA Ultra,  after updating software 36.0.B.2.109 minimum Brightness level very high. In old version level is good.

I can say that it's true, both Z3c and C5 are too bright also when at zero compared to other phones, it is even more bright if you use the adaptive brightness. What happen if you disable it?

By the way, I am with Cameron and Uliwooly, its mostly a matter of taste but probably good feedback for Sony anyway.

Go to Settings, Display, Adaptive Brightness turn this feature off and then adjust brightness level

Hi. XA ULTRA F3211. Problem is not fixed in new 36.0.a.2.146 update. Please! This is most important problem, low level of brightness as high on some devices, save my eyes, i wanna see this world..

After update 36.0.b.2.146 brightness issue is available. Please resolve on priority. Decrease minimum level of brightness.

have the same problem on my xa ultra dual SIM and am waiting for a fix maybe in the nougat update. You think it is a software bug or hardware problem?

If your phone is upgraded to Nougat and rooted, you can contact me I will send you a Kernel which be edited for fix minimum brighness issue .
